What vitamins are right for hair growth?

Vitamins are essential nutrients for the good and growth of hair. The hair’s beauty is directly proportional to its looking, i.e., the beauty of the hair is viewed as a sign of healthy hair. The growth and health of hair depend on nutrients such as vitamins. Hair affected by age, hormones, or genetics can be treated by taking foods rich in vitamins. Therefore consuming enough vitamins may help to keep the hair healthy.

Lack of enough vitamins is linked to hair disorders like hair loss, brittle hair, and thin hair. To avoid these disorders, one has to include any of the vitamins discussed below in the diet.

1. Vitamin A

Hair depends on vitamin A for its growth. Vitamin A helps the skin in producing sebum. Sebum is an oily substance that keeps the hair moist and keeps the hair healthy. 2. Vitamin E

Vitamin E plays magic in making the hair shiny and healthy. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that contains more than eight fat-soluble nutrients. The compounds found in vitamin E act as antioxidants. The antioxidant property of vitamin E is beneficial to hair cells. It helps protect the hair cells from oxidative stress linked to discoloring and loss of the hair. Just like other vitamins, vitamin E is crucial in the cell-making process.

Taking foods and supplements rich in vitamin E can reduce the loss of hair and facilitate the growth of more hair. Also, bathing your hair with vitamin E supplements facilitates adequate oxygen supply within the hair and repairs damaged hair follicles.

3. Vitamin c

Vitamin c is a vital vitamin to ensure the proper growth of hair. Vitamin C is needed in the body to create a protein known as collagen. Collagen is the main component of connective tissue and helps in making the skin elastic. Collagen is directly linked to the health of hair as it forms the hair structure. Collagen also helps in strengthening the hair.

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps the hair skin avoid and treat oxidative stress caused by free radicals. Free radicals block the growth of hair and cause hair to discolor. Therefore, taking foods rich in vitamin C can help to solve problems related to free radical damage. Vitamin C also plays an essential role in helping the body absorb iron, a mineral necessary for hair growth and health.

Correcting vitamin D deficiency can help to reduce hair loss.

5. B Vitamins

B-vitamin is one name used to refer to vitamins found in the Vitamin B category consisting of eight B vitamins. These vitamins are vital for the proper growth of hair. One of these B vitamins is biotin, or Vitamin H. Biotin can treat hair loss and control hair from occurring. Biotin also helps in improving the appearance of the hair and gives it a shiny and beautiful appearance.

B vitamins also help create red blood cells, which carry oxygen to the scalp so that the hair follicles can generate new hair and improve the existing hair’s condition.

B vitamins based cosmetic can be used to wash damaged hair. Washing hair with B vitamins enables the hair cells to absorb the nutrients, and these nutrients are essential in maintaining the color and improving the condition of the hair.
